Family Vacation Mesa Verde

The third tour we did at Mesa Verde was to Spruce Tree House.  This was a self-guided tour.  We walked a path down to the dwelling.  This tour was more "hands on" for everyone.  We got to climb down into a kiva, and the kids got to explore through windows and try the stones used for grinding.  Interesting and fun!
