Rod had a nice Father's Day last Sunday. He opened up his presents in the morning before church. He received a barbecue set and a radar detector. Tyler gave him a bee magnet he made, and Cazhmere gave him a picture and card she made. The kids ended the present time with a tackle hug by most of them. At church the primary sang to the Father's. Tyler, Cazhmere, Parese, and Melena participated in that with me playing the piano for the primary. They sang 3 songs. Scharlet was very upset that she didn't get to go up there too. She cried and Rod had to take her to the back for a bit. At home, Rod had a nice Father's Day dinner. He barbecued steak and lobster. He also barbecued porkchops for the kids. We had asparagus, salad, and baked potatoes too. For dessert Rod had cherry and dutch apple pie. Yummy! Rod watched a movie that evening with those of us that stay up a little later. He watched Forever Strong. It is a very good movie. Rod and Josh got the opportunity at scout camp to meet and listen to the coach the movie portrays talk about rugby, etc. It was a good day!
Happy Father's Day
