Saturday, February 13th we sealed our sweet daughter Scharlet to our family in the Las Vegas Temple. It was such a wonderful experience for our family. Our other children got to come with us and watch the sealing. When we arrived at the temple, our kids were taken to the children's area where they watched videos, colored, and were helped to dress in white. They did great and were complimented on how they treated each other so lovingly. They waited there while Rod & I were taken to do paperwork and then get ready. We each had attendants. I was treated like a bride and got to use the bride's room. We both received lockers with our names on it. Rod & I were then taken up to a waiting room until our time.
At the sealing time, we were brought into the sealing room where we saw many family and friends smiling at us. The sealer talked to us for a few minutes while our kids were brought up. The kids were brought into the sealing room all dressed in white. They looked so beautiful and were happy and smiling. Scharlet was so cute! They all sat on the front row. Scharlet was beaming and waved at her Grandpa and Gramps. The sealing was beautiful. Afterwards the kids got to stand with Rod and I and look into the mirrors that go on forever. It was a special experience to see our little family going on forever together! We are so blessed to be able to have Scharlet sealed to us like the rest of our children are. We appreciated all the family and friends that came and missed all those who couldn't come. We love you all!
After the sealing we got to take pictures of our family in our white temple clothes.
