Egg Drop

Today the first grade classes at Shelia Tarr Elementary had their annual egg drop. Each student takes a raw egg and constructs a container for it that will protect it from breaking. Yesterday, Melena with the help of Rod constructed a nice container out of a tissue box, paper towels, and newspaper. Melena then decorated the outside of the box with markers. At school today, the principal got on the roof with all the eggs and called each student to the front and then dropped their egg in the container off the roof. The student then took their egg container and had it opened to see if it made it. Melena was excited to see her egg made the drop and was still intact! Yay!
